Everyday Coordination Assistant for Microsoft 365
A Microsoft 365 and Teams-native assistant that turns routine coordination work into a few typed questions.
Powered by CoWork
Business value
Reduces the time knowledge workers spend coordinating instead of doing their actual work, using tools already inside Microsoft 365.
Knowledge workers lose real hours every week to routine coordination: searching for the right file, chasing a status update across email and chat, or repeating the same explanation to a new teammate. CoWork is an MII-built capability pattern that sits inside Microsoft Teams and the wider Microsoft 365 estate, so people can ask for a summary, a status, or a next step in natural language and get an answer instead of a search. CoWork is built on Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Power Platform, so it works with the content and workflows a team already has rather than asking them to adopt a new system.
Where it helps
- Summarising Teams conversations and documents on request
- Answering status and process questions inside a Teams channel
What the pattern does
- Natural-language assistant embedded in Microsoft Teams
- Summarisation of conversations, documents, and channel activity
- Workflow automation through Power Platform connectors
The challenge
Knowledge is scattered across documents, chats, portals, and daily work tools. Teams lose time searching, re-answering the same questions, and checking whether information is current, while access rules make simple knowledge sharing harder to scale.
What was built
MII Cowork brings AI copilots into one workspace, connects them to approved enterprise knowledge through search and retrieval, and applies role-based access so each team only receives answers from sources they are allowed to use.
What changed
A collaborative workspace where every team can ask questions, receive source-aware answers, summarize long material, and automate repeated knowledge tasks from one governed place.
Why it matters
Less repeated searching, faster decisions, better reuse of institutional knowledge, and safer collaboration because answers stay aligned with access rules and approved sources.
